Speed unit follows the distance unit to avoid confusion.
Presets are rough references. Actual fuel rate varies with hull, load, and sea state.
Enter any two of distance, speed, or time and the remaining value is auto-calculated.
Advanced (weather factor / idling factor / rounding)
- Fuel volume is shown with 1 decimal place.
- JPY is rounded to whole yen.
- JPY/kg is shown as an integer.
คำถามที่พบบ่อย
Does wind or waves increase fuel use?
Often yes. Use the safety factor to account for rough conditions. Typical guides: calm 1.05 / normal 1.15 / rough 1.30.
Which unit should I use for fuel rate?
Use the unit that matches your data. If you know fuel per hour, choose L/h. If you know fuel per nautical mile, choose L/nm.
How do I handle round trips or multiple legs?
Add segments and enter each leg separately. If the return leg matches the outbound leg, use “Create round trip.”
How is idling fuel handled?
Enter idling time and adjust with the idling factor, which scales cruising fuel rate to idling fuel rate.
Important notice
- Actual fuel use varies with wind, waves, current, load, hull condition, RPM, and maneuvering.
- This tool provides an estimate only. Increase the safety factor for conservative planning.
- If you have measured fuel rate data (L/h or L/nm), use it for best accuracy.
