FAQ
Can I use seawater or existing brine?
Enter the current salinity in “Initial salinity %”. The result shows how much salt to add. If the initial salinity is higher than the target, you need to dilute instead of adding salt.
I want to see oz instead of g.
Switch the display unit in Advanced settings (calculations are done internally in grams).
I also add sugar or other ingredients.
Add them under Additional ingredients. In %w/w, additives increase total weight so the salt % drops. %w/v is based on salt per 100 mL and treats additives as an estimate.
