Batch Scale-Up Calculator (Keep Ratios + Loss/Yield)

Change batch size while preserving ratios. Supports loss/yield and minimum charging unit rounding.

Data is processed and saved in your browser.

My units are mixed (g/kg/L).

g/kg/mg and L/mL inputs are normalized automatically. If mass and volume are mixed, target-total mode needs a conversion basis such as density. Factor mode works without conversion.

I need to round to lot size.

Set a minimum unit (e.g. 0.1 g, 10 g) and choose round up/round/round down. We also show the total shift from rounding.

How can I keep a record?

Inputs are autosaved in your browser. You can export CSV or JSON (no data is sent to servers).

Tips for scaling from R&D to production?

Keep ratios with factor scaling, then apply loss/yield and rounding to finalize charge amounts. Also verify equipment constraints and process risks separately.

Notes (safety & equipment)
  • This tool assists with scaling calculations only. It does not account for safety, reactivity, heat generation, viscosity changes, mixing order, solubility, shear, equipment limits, regulations, or quality specs.
  • Apply separate equipment checks, process design, and risk assessment before production.
