XWRITE has a child theme

XWRITE did not originally have a child theme, but it was updated on January 22, 2025, and child themes became available. If possible, create a child theme. When you create a child theme for a WordPress theme, you can prevent major design breakage when switching to another theme.

General procedure for creating a WordPress child theme

STEP.1
Create a folder for the child theme
First, access the WordPress installation folder and create a folder for the child theme inside wp-content/themes/.

2. Create a new folder inside wp-content/themes/ and name it something like theme-child. The folder name is up to you, but it is better to use a name that is easy to understand.

Activate the child theme
