Check target temperature, humidity, and ventilation notes for each silkworm stage

Switch between young, mature, and mounting stages one screen at a time and highlight only the deviation from actual readings.

Actual readings can be entered manually or imported from a local CSV. Nothing is sent to a server.

Why one stage per screen

Young and mounting stages need very different conditions, so keeping each stage separate reduces mistakes.

°C
Young High humidity, gentle airflow

Keep conditions stable and avoid direct drafts.

26.0–28.0 °C / 85–90%

Mature Balanced heat and airflow

Prevent heat buildup while keeping the room even.

24.0–26.0 °C / 75–80%

Mounting Dry, calm, and steady

Keep the room calm and the air dry enough for mounting.

23.0–25.0 °C / 60–70%

Use these default targets as a starting point, then compare live readings inside the dialog.

Young High humidity, gentle airflow

Young larval stage

Keep conditions stable and avoid direct drafts.

Temperature
26.0–28.0 °C
Humidity
85–90%
Ventilation Gentle, stable airflow. Avoid direct draft.
Mature Balanced heat and airflow

Mature larval stage

Prevent heat buildup while keeping the room even.

Temperature
24.0–26.0 °C
Humidity
75–80%
Ventilation Moderate ventilation. Prevent heat buildup.
Mounting Dry, calm, and steady

Mounting stage

Keep the room calm and the air dry enough for mounting.

Temperature
23.0–25.0 °C
Humidity
60–70%
Ventilation Dry, even ventilation. Keep the room calm.

How to use

  1. Select a stage and, if needed, change the temperature unit.
  2. Adjust the target temperature, humidity, and ventilation note if your room uses a different local standard.
  3. Enter actual temperature, humidity, ventilation status, or import a local CSV.
  4. Review the deviation strip and use copy, CSV export, or print when you need to share the board.

Examples

Young stage example

Input: Target 26.0–28.0 °C / 85–90%, actual 27.4 °C / 88%, ventilation status aligned

Output: Temperature and humidity stay within target, so the board shows a quiet OK state.

Mounting stage example

Input: Target 23.0–25.0 °C / 60–70%, actual 25.8 °C / 58%, ventilation status review

Output: Temperature is above the upper limit, humidity is below the lower limit, and ventilation is marked for review.

Glossary

Young larval stage
The early feeding stage. In this tool it is handled as one separate screen.
Mature larval stage
The later feeding stage. It usually needs a different balance of heat and airflow.
Mounting stage
The stage before cocooning, when the room should stay calm and dry enough for mounting.
Ventilation note
A short note for airflow instructions or cautions that are hard to turn into numbers.
Deviation
Any difference from the target range. Temperature and humidity use numbers, while ventilation uses a status.

Frequently asked questions

Can I save different target values for each stage?

Yes. Temperature, humidity, and ventilation notes are stored separately for each stage.

What CSV format can I import?

It imports CSV files that include a stage key and actual readings. Common English and local aliases are recognized automatically.

Can I switch temperature units?

Yes. You can switch between °C and °F.

Do I need an internet connection?

No. Input, CSV parsing, and deviation display all happen in the browser.

Important notes

  • Target values vary by region and operation, so treat the defaults as samples.
  • Check the temperature unit before importing CSV rows.
  • Keep actual readings and ventilation notes out of the URL. Use CSV or print instead.
  • Use CSV export or print when you want to move the board to another device.
