Concrete Volume Calculator (m³ / yd³) + Truck Estimate

Sum multiple shape volumes, then calculate waste-included quantity and estimated truck count.

The truck count always includes round-up reasoning, plus a row-level breakdown for verification.

How to use

  1. Choose volume display unit (m³/yd³) and dimension unit (m/cm/mm/ft).
  2. Add rows and enter dimensions for Rect, Trapezoid, Circle, or Cylinder.
  3. Enter waste (%) and truck capacity per load, then review volume and truck estimate.
  4. Use the breakdown table and formulas for cross-checking, then copy results when needed.

Examples

Foundation slab + circular placement

Input Rect(L=5, W=2, T=0.15), Circle(D=1.2, T=0.2), loss=5%, capacity=8m³

Output Net 1.73 m³ / With loss 1.82 m³ / Trucks 1 (estimate)

Extended placement with trapezoid section

Input Trapezoid(a=0.8, b=1.2, h=0.3, L=20), loss=7%, capacity=6m³

Output Divides waste-included volume by truck capacity and shows rounded loads plus margin

FAQ

What does Trapezoid represent in this tool?

It represents trapezoid cross-section area multiplied by extension length (trapezoid section × length).

Can I use a waste rate above 30%?

Yes. The tool shows a warning and still calculates the result.

What happens when truck count is fractional?

It is always rounded up to an integer load, with the rounding reason and margin shown.

Can I view m³ and yd³ together?

Yes. You select the primary unit and the other unit is shown as a secondary value.

Can I treat the truck count as final?

No. Truck count is an estimate. Final ordering should match actual transport and contract conditions.

Notes (Estimate)

  • Truck capacity, loading behavior, and practical payload can vary by region, supplier, truck type, roads, legal limits, and site constraints.
  • This tool provides an estimate. Final quantity should be adjusted with your supplier and transport conditions.
