How to use

FAQ

Why would I pick an option with a higher waste rate?

Because waste rate is not the only criterion. Visual symmetry or avoiding tiny, fragile cuts may matter more for your project.

What is the difference between centered and one-side flush?

Centered keeps edge cuts equal on both sides. One-side flush prioritizes full tiles at the start side and pushes cuts to the opposite side.

Is waste rate equal to real on-site discard?

Not always. If offcuts can be reused in other rows, actual discard may be lower than this estimate.

Why is field adjustment still necessary?

Cut-ins, wall irregularities, trim positions, and movement-joint requirements cannot be resolved fully by simple geometry alone.

Can I enter room dimensions in meters?

Yes. Enter dimensions in m or mm; calculations are normalized to mm internally.
