What is volumetric weight?

  • Volumetric weight/box (kg) = Volume (cm³) ÷ Factor
  • Seleccionar coefficient 5000 / 6000 / custom

What is CBM?

  • Volume (cm³) = L × W × H
  • CBM/Box (m³) = Volume (cm³) ÷ 1,000,000

How to consider the number of pallets

  • Compare the number of boxes per layer in two orientation patterns and adopt the maximum value.
  • Number of stages = floor(effective stacking height / box height)
  • Required number of pallets = ceil (number of boxes / number of boxes per sheet)

Common assumptions

  • Factors, rounding, and minimum chargeable weight vary depending on the shipping company and transportation mode.
  • Since loading during mixed loading varies depending on site conditions, the default value is the type-specific method.
  • Rounding applies only to billed weights (estimated) and not to raw values ​​of CBM or volumetric weights.

FAQ

Volumetric weight coefficients are different

You can select the coefficient (e.g. 5000/6000). If there is a coefficient specified by the shipping company, enter it in "Personalizado".

What about the cm/inch mix?

Dimensions and weights can be input with units and are automatically converted to display units. (Example: 15in → 38.1cm)

Multiple box sizes?

You can increase the number of rows by "Agregar box type" and calculate them by size all at once.

Is the number of pallets accurate?

This is a guideline. Actual loading will vary depending on orientation, gaps, curing, measures against cargo collapse, weight restrictions, etc., so please check the warehouse/transport company's regulations for final conditions.
