Purpose

Keep each compartment's location, area, stand age, major species composition, and notes in the stand-information sheet.
Record the tree number, species, diameter at breast height, height, estimated standing volume, and survey date in the inventory.
Use the tree-class, tree-state, planned-period, and extraction-method fields to keep planning information with each tree record.
The fields use hectares for stand area, centimeters for diameter, meters for height, and cubic meters for volume. The thinning-rate field is a percentage, not a measure of work speed.
How to organize the records
From stand details to thinning-plan review
Prepare the compartment and classification lists before adding tree records. Keep measured dimensions and planning selections distinguishable when reviewing the inventory.
Step 2
Record the tree inventory
Enter each tree's number, species, dimensions, volume estimate, and survey date. Preserve relevant observations in the notes field.
Step 3
Add the planning details
Record the tree class and state alongside the planned period and extraction method. Review these fields together when checking which records belong to the thinning plan.
Step 4
Review counts and volumes
Calculate tree counts, volumes, and thinning percentages separately, then enter them in the dashboard manually. Check the summaries against the inventory records and their classification fields.
