Purpose

Keep each facility's name, kiln number or name, safety officer, and remarks in the facility master sheet.
Record the inspection date and time, operation stage, measured CO value, evaluation, and inspector notes in the safety log.
The dashboard provides fields for each kiln's maximum recorded CO value, CO danger count, fire warnings, ventilation abnormalities, and safety status.
This workbook is a recordkeeping template, not a gas detector or a safety certification. Sample values and status labels do not establish safe operating conditions. Calculate summary figures separately and update the dashboard manually.
How to organize the records
From facility details to inspection review
Set up the facility and kiln identifiers before adding inspection records. Keep the measurement, evaluation, and inspector's notes together for later review.
Step 2
Record inspection details
Enter the date, time, operation stage, and CO measurement for the inspection. Keep the recorded measurement separate from the threshold and evaluation fields.
Step 3
Record the check results
Use the fire, burn-prevention, dust-control, ventilation, and PPE fields to record the corresponding inspection results. Add the inspector's observations in the notes field.
Step 4
Review the recorded findings
Compare each kiln's dashboard summary with its inspection records. Retain the original measurements and notes so the summary can be checked against its source.
