Record each voyage and its refueling entries in one workbook. Use the same trip ID to connect fuel records with the corresponding voyage.

The workbook contains instructions, a dashboard, vessel and supplier settings, a voyage log, and a refueling log. Start by replacing the sample vessel and supplier information with your own records.
File name: fishery_fuel_trip_operation_log_template_en.xlsx
The sample fields use liters for fuel volume, hours for operating time, and kilograms for catch. Fuel prices and refueling costs are labeled in JPY, so check the currency labels before entering your own amounts. Calculate metrics separately and update the dashboard manually.
Enter vessel and supplier settings before recording trips and refueling. Review the linked records together so a fuel entry can be traced to the correct voyage.
Enter vessel names, registration numbers, fuel tank capacities, fuel types, and supplier contact information in the settings sheet.
Assign a trip ID and enter the departure and return dates, vessel, operating hours, distance, catch, and any remarks.
Copy the corresponding trip ID into each refueling record. Enter the refueling details from the supplier's slip and keep the remaining-fuel readings with that entry.
Compare the dashboard's vessel totals with the voyage and refueling records. Refueled volume is not the same as consumed volume. To calculate fuel use, also record fuel remaining at the start and end of the trip; review volume and cost separately.
