EOQ Calculator

Calculate volumetric weight from L×W×H and carrier divisor, then compare with actual weight to show chargeable weight.

Dimensions (L / W / H)
e.g. 40×30×20
Actual Weight
Chargeable weight is usually the greater of actual and volumetric weight (contract exceptions apply).
Carrier Divisor
divisor unit: cm³/kg
Units changed. Check the divisor value.
Divisor varies by carrier, service, and contract. Check your contract or rate card for “Dimensional/Volumetric weight divisor” and enter it here.

See formula

Volume: V = L × W × H
Volumetric (dimensional) weight: VW = V / divisor
Chargeable weight: CW = max(ActualWeight, VW)
Rounding (as configured): CW_rounded = round_mode(CW, step)
When switching units, divisor units change—always verify the divisor value.

常见问题

Which divisor should I use?

Divisors vary by carrier, service, and contract. Check your contract/rate card for “Dimensional/Volumetric weight divisor” and enter it. Presets are references only.

Which is charged, actual or volumetric weight?

Most pricing uses the larger of the two (exceptions depend on your contract). This tool shows the comparison instantly.

Rounding differs (1 kg, 0.5 kg, etc.)

Rounding varies by carrier/service. Choose rounding mode (ceil/round/floor) and step (1.0/0.5/0.1) to match actual rules.

Does the order of L/W/H matter?

No. Volume is multiplicative, so order does not matter.

What about multiple identical packages (qty)?

Enter qty to see total chargeable weight for identical packages. If sizes/weights differ, calculate separately (history helps).

Divisor, rounding, and minimum chargeable weights vary by carrier/service/contract.
This tool uses a general calculation method. Final billing follows carrier rules.
