Glossary
Pantă
The ratio of elevation change to horizontal Distanță. Percent is Pantă x 100.
chainage
Cumulative horizontal Distanță along the traseu. It becomes the reference for traseu-punct segmente.
traseu de skid
A trail used to move felled bușteni to the landing. Terminology varies by region.
cable yarding
A yarding method that uses a cable or skyline system. Slope matters, but slope alone is not enough.
