All calculations stay in this tarayıcı and are not sent to a sunucu.

Sort by market

See retail, iş, and charcoal fits side by side before you pack or ship the lot.

Accepts common units

Tür cm, mm, m, in, or ft. Bare numbers follow the selected preset.

Normalizes moisture basis

Wet-basis values are compared directly, and dry-basis values are converted automatically.

How to use
  1. Choose the market focus and unit sistem first.
  2. Enter length, thickness, split condition, and moisture. Add units if you want to override the preset.
  3. Switch moisture basis if the number you have is dry basis instead of wet basis.

Reference bands

These thresholds are built-in starter bands. The live denetleyici shows the actual result for each lot.

Moisture is compared on a wet-basis scale inside the denetleyici.
Band Length Thickness Split Moisture Use
Retail üst düzey 25-33 cm 5-9 cm Standart or finer 20% wb max Shelf-ready retail packs and üst düzey firewood
Retail standart 20-40 cm 4-12 cm Kaba or finer 25% wb max Genel retail packs and mixed lots

Drying required Same as the target band Same as the target band Same as the target band Above the band limit, up to 70% wb Seasoning queue before final sorting
Rework required Outside the band Outside the band Split condition too weak Above 70% wb or outside the band Resplit, recut, or sort again
Basis and assumptions
  • The bands are starting puan for quick sorting, not universal certification standards.
  • Wet-basis moisture is the internal comparison scale. Dry-basis numbers are converted before scoring.
  • Small boundary differences are treated as warnings so you can see how close a lot is to the edge.
Glossary

Market focus

The market you want to see first. Secondary fits stay visible below it.

Split condition

The lot's current split pattern, such as round, kaba, standart, or fine.

Wet basis

Moisture measured against the total current weight of the lot.

Dry basis

Moisture measured against the dry weight of the material.

Secondary fit

Any band other than the primary band that still passes the lot.

Kayıtic
  • cm = in × 2.54
  • MCwb = 100 × MCdb ÷ (100 + MCdb)
  • Pass = length ∧ thickness ∧ split ∧ moisture
  • Primary = first passing band in the selected focus order
  • Margin = smallest distance to any band boundary
Frequently asked questions
Why can the same lot fit more than one band?

Because the bands are overlapping by tasarım. The primary band follows your market focus, and secondary fits remain visible.

Is moisture wet basis or dry basis?

Wet basis is compared directly. If you only know dry basis, switch the basis and the tool converts it for you.

Can I use inches and feet?

Yes. You can tür imperial units directly, and bare numbers follow the imperial preset when it is selected.

What if the lot is too wet?

If the size and split fit but moisture is above the band limit, the denetleyici shows Drying required and puan to the en iyi target band.

Are these thresholds universal?

No. They are starter bands. Use them as a practical sorting rule and adjust them to your local market if needed.

Important notlar
  • These bands are practical starter rules, not product certification.
  • Local market rules, buyer rules, and packaging rules take priority.
  • Always confirm whether the number you have is wet basis or dry basis.
  • Use a bare number only when you are sure the preset matches your market.
