WebP to PNG conversion (how to restore WebP as PNG)

If you need compatibility with editors or workflows that still prefer PNG, switch output to PNG and convert in one click. This keeps the workflow local and quick.

PNG to JPEG conversion (transparency warning)

JPEG does not support transparency. When converting transparent PNG/WebP to JPEG, this tool composites transparent areas using your chosen background color.

Why convert image formats in the browser

Browser-side conversion keeps files on your device, reduces upload waiting time, and makes repeat tasks faster with saved settings.

How to use

  1. Add images by drag and drop, file selection, or sample images.
  2. Choose output format, quality, and JPEG background color when needed.
  3. Click Convert, then download each file or download all successful results as ZIP.

FAQ

Is transparency preserved?

PNG and WebP can preserve transparency. JPEG cannot, so transparent areas are merged with a selected background color.

Which browsers support WebP output?

Most modern browsers support WebP. If WebP export is unavailable, the tool shows guidance and falls back to PNG.

Is EXIF metadata preserved?

Canvas-based conversion usually drops metadata such as EXIF. Use caution when metadata retention is required.

Are images uploaded to a server?

No. Processing is done locally in your browser and images are not uploaded.

Why can orientation change after conversion?

Some environments handle EXIF orientation differently, which can change output direction. Try reconverting in another browser if needed.

Notes

  • Images are processed on your device in the browser.
  • Some older browsers may not support every output format.
  • Large or high-resolution batches may take more time depending on device memory.
