How to use

  1. Enter the project code, site code, sample type, and collection time to generate a sample ID.
  2. Add handover events and update the seal number, current holder, and destination lab as the sample moves.
  3. Choose a label template and QR payload mode, then review the preview before exporting.
  4. Save the record locally when you need a reusable snapshot for the same site or campaign.

Preguntas frecuentes

What format does the sample ID use?

The default format combines project, site, date, and sequence. Advanced settings can switch to a custom pattern.

Can the QR include every handover event?

Yes. The default is summary mode so the QR stays easier to scan, and full mode is available when you need the whole trail.

Can I enter personal names?

You can, but field operations usually work better with operator codes and recipient codes. QR content should always be treated as readable by anyone.

Is anything sent to the cloud?

No. Processing stays in the browser, and saving is limited to explicit local actions.

Chain of custody

The traceable record of who handed the sample to whom and when.

Sample ID

A short code that uniquely identifies the sample.

Seal number

The seal identifier used to verify the sample during transport.

Summary QR

A QR code that carries the minimum needed for stable scanning.
